So I know that wind chimes make like ringing tinkling sounds … but I'm trying to write a college admissions essay and I am mentioning how I love the sound of wind chimes, I can't just say tinkling wind-chimes,  … ringing wind chimes doesn't sound right … chiming wind chimes doesn't sound right either, I just need a word that describes the sound wind chimes make other than tinkling, ringing and chiming. PLEASE HELP

My older sister told me this, and right outside my window is the backyard where there's a set of wind chimes hung on a tree.

It kind of creeps me out when I hear the wind chimes. I love the sound of wind chimes, but if they attract ghosts, I'm not so sure about wind chimes anymore.
